@rasteri Something I noticed in your WeeCee Part 1 video - 2:35 - Standard IDE Compatible is Disabled - does Enabling help or change anything? 2:39 - Does setting PIO and DMA Mode settings manually help?

Well down the line I might consider doing a "weecee max" or something that had some extra stuff. But probably not with the 86DX - there are other Vortex86 SoMs that have inbuilt SATA/HDMI and other fun stuff that I've been playing with :) Oh cool! @rasteri Can you post some screenshots of the RDC storage controller in device manager? One of it showing the error, one of the Driver File Details, and one of the resource allocations (if any)? Does Device Manager show any error message with my driver on the Volari Z9? If not then try running a …

@rasteri So, no chance for any hardware revisions? or experiments? What scenarios do you encounter USB crashing in? Also, does the BIOS have a USB Keyboard option?

Just out of curiosity - has anyone tried to see if rloew's Win9x AHCI driver will load on Win3.1? Anyone up for trying? Maybe we'll get lucky and it won't depend on anything 9x specific and it'll just work? I think We'd need to write a custom Win3.1 INF for it though.

@rasteri Cool, I'll run a benchmark on that port once I have my WeeCee. I think the highest bandwidth I've seen on a USB 2.0 port in windows is about 25MB/s - I'll be pleasantly surprised if it reaches that.

@rasteri Ah, I missed the 98 LAN driver being there on the page you linked. I must have scrolled past it as I originally only saw the XP embedded version. Also, can you confirm wether or not the single USB port on the WeeCee is 2.0? 1.1? or 1.0?

@rasteri @Nachtrave OK, My next IDE mod driver attempt for the WeeCee. I've gotten a better understanding of how 95/98/ME INF files differ from INF files in2000/XP, among other things, so I do hope this one works. Please try it.

Has anyone tried my modded VGA driver? The .inf file in the MOD folder? It might give us OpenGL/Direct acceleration in Windows 98 assuming it works.
