I have already tried many PCB Standoffs but wasn't able to find the ones with the perfect fit. Some are too short, some are to long and other are simply to thick. Back then the standoffs were delivered together with the daughterboard. If you find the perfect standoffs, let us know please 😀

Hi guys, I came by this MSI MS-4144 Rev. 1.3 486 motherboard, which is supposedly an excellent 486 motherboard. The issue I am having now is that the 10 pin resistor array is missing at JC1 / JC2 /JC3. Does anyone know what kind of resistor I need to use here? Thx!

I figured out what was causing the problem... The port settings for the SB16 were the same as on the Mpu401 card and thus not working... Now everything works perfeclty as it should.

The drivers are installed at the same time. The card itself works perfectly fine in DOS, just in Windows there is no sound and that erro message.

Bumping an old thread but I really like the idea of putting wavetable dbs in those Miditemp DoX-BoX cases. This way one can easily switch between different dbs. Does anyone know, where I can get these DoX-BoX cases? It seems they are not sold anymore and I can't even find one offer anywhere.
