That case has poor airflow tho and is cramped. I would not do that to a valuable card, maybe a MX440 or something.

Just fine any corporate desktop box from the late 00s. Non upgradeable, shitty form factors, crap parts, good luck finding drivers etc, but still will be faster than any XP era pc.

IIRC Tie Fighter was quite demanding and really needed a good 486 at a time when many still ran 386s.

I have generally had good success installing GOG games on WinXP and playing them on WinXP and/or Win98 (after copying).
