One thing to remember is on NS5R, GM mode = Korg mode. It has seperate modes for GS and XG compatibility. GS will sound the most authentic with Duke3D. Actually I got mixed up. It was plugged into my AWE64 the whole time. It seems to work well in Win98. I plan on trying it again with the HardMPU.

The chances of getting a dud anything from China is rather high 😁 But the ones that work, work well in my experience. SSD or HDD. I love the ones that plug straight into the IDE port and don't require a PATA cable (yuck).
