I do not understand one thing. Why is everybody swearing on the V3? I would just get a power board and a bunch of small 9v inverter PSUs. I have non-roland equipment with quite different voltage so it's much easier this way for me. Sorry, what's a power board? Mt32 is better with intelligent mode mpu401. Gold standard is a music quest clone/hardmpu paired with something like an awe64 (or any other good isa card). Philips Rhythmic Edge, sealed. Been on the lookout for years for even a loose one to appear on Ebay, so was surprised when this new one showed up. I like it because its the the most basic of the "Edge" models but comes with everything a gamer cares about including coax SPDIF port.

Have you considered a ATX/AT cable adapter? You might need to rig up the on/off button though. Actual AT power supplies stopped being produced 20+ years ago and are probably not to be trusted.
