isn't EPS12V on pretty much any new PSU nowadays? are you sure you have no modern PSU lying about that has both a 4pin and 8pin cpu plug? also the motherboard might not even need both if only one CPU is installed? I just played the lottery on ebay... bought a meh condition luggable computer for not …

I don't know how good of an idea it is to route all the power through the motherboard, for SFF and some OEM designs, sure... but systems that make extensive use of drives or other peripherials would still depend on other voltages unless everything changes over to 12V first. so I foresee PSUs …

Was doing a really broad search on eBay and ran across a seller that has some PC/104 audio/video boards so I bought one. The sound chip is a Crystal CS4236B so it should work great for a retro PC/104 build. No idea what the video is. And it doesn't have a VGA out port. I'll have to try to look it …

google tells me: http://www.motherboard.cz/mb/pcchips/m726mrt.htm might be a different revision, slightly different capacitor placement, but I've found pictures looking like yours too.

I too dislike the zig zag lines, I know this is the new "style" but it was very irritating at first, because somehow I automatically follow them making it hard to skim through topics in the overview, the more compact line spacing …

I did that... but just like everything else in this country it's just a big "nope" I wanted to do dividers at first, but they are way more expensive than single boxes for some reason and making them would just eat up so much time ^^ ...lasercutter anyone?

hardware35_16.jpg also finally got one of these, my first 8088 board :3 ...including FPU as well The CPU is 12 MHz The FPU seems to be 8087-2, ie. 8 MHz It can't work. yeah I noticed that, didn't think too much of it at the time ^^ either the system ran at a slower speed or the 8087 might be burnt …
