yes, it should have been, but just saying that he again reasoned with "it showed a dead short" which is not actually the case.

Also, just to make something clear: It's perhaps better to unbox an historic piece and make a video documentary, than let it "sealed" and not let the world realize that it existed. I wholeheartedly agree... and while I too share the sentiment that the whole thing was sloppy and full of avoidable …

well there are a bunch of dip-switches on the back of the card, the PC it came in actually had another ISA videocard in it, but it wouldn't boot with that one installed, just gave "VGA error" beeps (long-short-short), the matrox alone worked fine though, which seems to make sense, as the dip- …
