I've never installed a CD or DVD ROM drive that wasn't picked up in DOS. Given it's not seen in BIOS either, then I would suspect a problem with that IDE channel. The IDE channel on your sound card would be worth a shot. If you would prefer to just mount images, I'm a fan of SHSUCD: https://www. …

Tests on a socket 7 system which has snoop in the BIOS, but it was left disabled for this. Some odd colours in the captures, but all looked normal on the screen. Except the Ark, which did not like being snooped I guess. Ark 2000.png Cirrus GD5446.png S3 Trio64 1.png S3 Trio64 2.png S3 Virge GX.png
