It's super easy to use Vogons on my Xperia X. People are simply too damn impatient and want everything instantly. Tap twice?! Zoom in?! Turn the screen?! Too slow, want it NOW!!!

Maybe solder in two pins? It only takes 5 minutes at most if you are inexperienced with the soldering iron.

After a lot of trying the card was finally recognized as NE1000 compatible just to be "lost" again after restart. It was sometimes detected and sometimes not at all so I consider it faulty. I have another card that needs identifying. Thank you.

I just bought 12 non-working boards with various battery and other damages. I just love working on these boards and bringing them back to life. The best part is seeing a board POST again after a difficult repair.

Desoldering is a pain without the proper tools. I simply cut off one side of the pins with a box cutter, break off the chip, desolder the remaining pins one by one and solder in a socket. It only works with easily accessible chips. I usually just stay away from boards with integrated batteries …
