GOG installers work with KernelEx, but Galaxy doesn't. I've been using them to install games on my Win98 box. For DOS stuff, I delete all the DosBox executables and configuration and move the game to a folder with the rest of my DOS goodies. Quake 2 engine games (including SiN) seem to crash the …

Someone from a BIOS modding community sent me one for the 775i65g r3 with updated microcode. But the E7600 still doesn't want to work in it. The E7300 still does.

Completely unrelated to IBM PC stuff, I began pulling apart both Questron games for the Commodore 64 in order to begin conversion to an EasyFlash cartridge image. Is this limited to just Creative cards? I have a CT3600, but I also have a later Aztech card and a Labway YMF724 card which have compatibility.

Those types of connector were common on sound cards prior to PCI hardware. By this point, almost everyone was on the same page using 2.54mm pin pitch jacks (which had been the ostensible standard for years). Didn't seem to work for me. On Bio Menace, I can still see map tiles off the right edge. It's humorous in game because some of them say "Edge Of Map". :P But that's a well known bug in the Galaxy engine. You can see it in Crystalus in Keen 4 as well. I didn't think that patch was supposed to fix …

Received the AsRock 775i65g r3.0. Works wonderfully in the mATX case. Dropped an E6700 in it and it works great. I applied Win98 USP3, and despite there being 2GB installed in the machine, Windows only shows ~875MB. *shrug* I am not really familiar with USP3, but I think you can edit the system.ini …
