I dont know about that adapter but for that board to run the PCI-X slots at 66 MHz jumper pins JP13 must be open and from your attached picture it appears to be jumpered closed.

Have you tried debugging it in dos to see if you can figure out where it fails? I dont much about this stuff but vswitchzero has some intersting videos repairing 3DFX cards but I havent seen any Banshees in the bunch.

I would think pushing the air against the card would more likely have added effects of cooling other parts of the card such as the memory as well. It seems less likely pulling the air through that the incoming air would be drawn across the card as much as pushing it might spread it out across the …

Grem Five there should be another 2 fets to monitor for the second slot if you end up running a 2nd card as well. Only dual slotkets I got to work in my P6DGS are a pair of Asus S370-DL. I never tried mixing and matching that many different slotkets only using matched sets. I think the terminator I have used in that board is just a generic one I picked off of ebay cheap, I would need to double check that. { …
