That heatsink usually indicates a 3000. The 2000 models have a smaller heatsink and the 3500 has TV. The Voodoo3 1000 / Velocity looks quite different and typically has no heatsink (insanity).

Yeah the early Glide games are more like Mechwarrior 2 3DFX edition and Fatal Racing / Whiplash 3D. I did Unreal on a Voodoo1. And Klingon Honor Guard (more Unreal engine).

I think you can OC a V2 via DOS environment vars, just like with my Voodoo1. So there is that option too.
