It really doesnt matter what you want to use.. Only XT IDE isnt very realiable to work with.. These drivers have a tendency to go bad. Any idea how or why the drivers go bad? Which drivers? I ordered a 5 pack of M11B416256A-25J 256 K x 16 FPM EDO. I'll let you know how it goes once they arrive, which will likely be well into 2021.

Did anyone expect to see slightly better DOS performance on the DRAM cards over the VRAM cards? I was checking Mach 32 cards recently and saw a similar, slight improvement for the DRAM card vs the VRAM card..

Try connecting using a 40 conductor ide cable to encourage the negotiation of a slower transfer rate. Those adapters are limited to 25mbs, so the performance drop should not be large.

I'll use my printouts until I find some 8 gauge wire for Z-spring or until thermal fatigue breaks down the plastic filament.
