I tried the new software with my board and so far I couldn't get the serial mouse to work with my board. COMTEST.COM from ctmouse thinks a modem is connected. What PC are you using? Do other serial mice work on it? I've only tested it on a couple of PCs so far but I'll try some more this weekend.

Wanted to try something new today, a usb cdrom in dos :D i finnaly got it to find it and load it, problem is as soon then USBASPI is loaded the usb keyboard stops working, maybe it resets the port or something. A quick hack for getting at the signals, get some 0.100" header and a credit card. Cut the credit card in half lengthwise. Yeah I much prefer the brute force approach - funnel everything into the PC with gigabytes of memory and a nice big screen :) I (or rather reenigne) had the idea to expand the number of signals by using multiplexers or D latches, we have loads of bandwidth to spare so maybe trading some clock speed …

OK with the latest commit the serial port should work, it's been tested with ctmouse and Windows 98. Movement is a little jerky under some circumstances, mainly because of the much lower data rate and DPI of serial mice. I'll have to implement some sort of DPI scaling and/or movement filtering, but …
