I really don't remember. I would imagine that the answer is in the patch release notes (possibly in an earlier revision). If you can install the game with the installer or manually, there are No-CD patches that would probably allow you to play the game. (Google is your friend.)

Logitech used to include EA's Sports Car GT in some of their force feedback wheel packages. Make sure to get 3rd-party patches to make the traction more realistic/variable. There is a demo for the game.
