Tested my new arrival, a S.462 ECS KT600-A. Hiren's MiniXP ok. Ubuntu 4 and 7 ok. On 7.04 I tested sound with Rhytmbox Music Player, Radio. 2 out of the 4 work... Well, a Northwood 2.4C (800 fsb/hyperthreading) should be able to underclock down to 1.2. But I can't be sure if it would actually be slower than a 1.4 Willamette .. it would probably run cold as a cucumber, though .. I think he just didn't know cpu-world. Underclocking could get you deep down, …
