Maybe the 300W wasn't delivering anything close to that. I had it with a 939 board, where the ultra light PSU rated 500W was in fact delivering 300 at most. Those cheapies were just death.

When I plug it into a Windows 10 machine, and Windows XP it works no problem, they just boot. When I change the USB port of the GX270 same problem, Win98 wont boot, it just sits there on the start up screen. But not frozen, its still amimated, there is just no HDD activity at all. Does W98 boot …

I never played this, it played pretty bad on my stock Amiga 500 at the time. I was more a Knights of the Sky guy :) Those were the times :) It was a hard game, it took me some time to learn how to play it. Stalling all the time... I loved F-19 and similar because it was harder to stall. I was a kid …

Have you checked the cartridge to be free of defects? Edit: Z750 can read 100, r/w 250. You could try a different one. Unless it just hangs with this one motherboard; you could make a quick test with a non-750 unit.

Since socket 775 has the same mounting system as sockets 1366 and 11x5 you should be able to use standard AIOs and water blocks if you go custom open loop.
