bootloader (MBR) is usually not on OS partition, but on first sector of partitioned disk. And you usually want XP bootloader to handle Windows98. On 512-byte sector disks, first 446 bytes is actual bootstrap. To be precise: 446 bytes – Bootstrap 64 bytes – Partition table 2 bytes – Signature

First one (Foxconn) uses SECC1 retention bracket. Have 2 of those, one on P2B (non F). Can you replace the bracket?

Did same with motherboard thas was probably used in a garage computer (very oily). I used liquid detergent. Dried it, and after that washed again with IPA, to get rid of any water/detergent under the chips. And sprayed liberally with contact cleaner 😀.

Very heavy and structurally sound case. Main problem with sleeper builds is ventilation. Basically, you have to "destroy" the case to achieve that. Not a fan of that.

Qauke3 is an OpenGL engine, but yes ... hardware T&L was supported from OpenGL 1.2. So, it is valid remark.

That's stupid, IMHO. What about other components, is everything 1999 time period, or just CPU and GPU? 2001 board with good DDR controller would be golden for K7.
