I just tested this on my actual DOS machine (P133) and it works great! I found a setting of 10 to be just right, anything lower seemed a hair too fast to me, though that may be based on my experience playing the game back in the day on a very low spec PC haha.

No one did better 256 color art than Westwood imo! Kyrandia 1&2 and Lands of Lore are some of the best looking games of all time. I definitely prefer the clean backgrounds in Kyrandia to, for example, the scanned artwork of the VGA Sierra games.

I swapped my standard Compact Flash card out for an "industrial" model on my DOS gaming PC. I was getting read errors now and then when installing larger games on the old card, and had read somewhere that the industrial models were better suited for this. So far so good, but we'll see!
