My guess is that Intel could have sold ppro233’s if they only offered it in 256kb varieties, the bigger cache modules likely couldn’t clock any higher than 200 Not really. They just didn't had enough headroom, so to speak, to make 233 Mhz models. Shipping a CPU which edges on maximum stable clocks …

I remember playing NFSU on my P4 2.8Ghz 1,5 GB RAM GF 5900XT - believe me or not it felt like the game wanted SERIOUS more.... So Your 1.7 is definitely not enough... Playing Winamp on a DX4/75? Impressive! Had to overclock my x5/133 to 160 to avoid stuttering back in the day .. Don't know how.... But it's working! That's pretty cool! What bitrate, etc.? Hmm it seems that it goes on 100Mhz Turbo mode (don't know exactly how it's turning on) - , bitrate 128kbps

I would say 400W with an active PFC will be just fine. Aim for Fortron, Seasonic, Chieftec..... Modern PSU will be suitable even for older setups as we talking about ATX. Care for standard molex plugs rather than the sata ones when buying new, modern ATX PSU.

Ok... I've just hack it... Through LPT port. It'll work with almost all toshiba laptops, even modern. You need to short pins: 1+5+10, 2+11, 3+17, 4+12 6+16, 7+13, 8+14, 9+15, 18+19+20+21+22+23+24+25 And power on! .... That's all folks... In attachment You can see my Frankenstein project.

Hi I've managed to repair 300CDT model (moffset damage) by myself but now it's asking me for the password. After dismountling the batteries rtc/backup nothing happens... Maybe some of You discovered already a way to disable it? Maybe there are some pads that needs to be shorted?

In my case, I've made the partitioning using FDISK, deleted all garbage (SD card 32GB after Amiga use) created new partition >2000MB (I don't remember if agreed "use large partition ...
