Re: 3 (+3 more) retro battle stations

I wouldn’t want to play quake at 320x200. 640x480 is tolerable, but if I recall, that Rendition Quake variant either didn’t do well at this resolution or doesn’t work. Can someone remind us what the result was with this? Yah at 320x200 it almost has a widescreen effect, it’s not quite full screen …

Re: 3 (+3 more) retro battle stations

For anyone interested, the Rendition Verite works on the m919. At the same resolution as dosbench Quake I’m able to achieve 31.8fps in vQuake at 180MHz/1024k L2. Although chalk a couple frames up to vQuake using 1.08 for it’ base. 76B9F56D-CFF0-4D0D-9B65-AB25CC4E2A53.jpeg Update! Forgot to do the …

Apologies for the spam of posts, it was a long battle but finally I was able to duplicate pshipkov’s Quake score of 21.2 on the m919 @180MHz and 1024k cache. Cache Speed = 2-1-2 DRAM Read = 1ws DRAM Write = 0ws L2 Cache = WT *unsure if these settings are stable or the same that pshipkov used This …

Re: 3 (+3 more) retro battle stations

Ugh, can’t even get the mobo to boot a dos install disk with a Gotek. Just hangs on “Starting MS-DOS…” Strike that, pulled the cache module and now GoTek is booting. Was able to format the SD card after booting dos from the GoTek. I can now boot from the SDcard adapter and the GoTek but in both …
