Same machine but swap in a Diamond Riva 128 and I consistently get 25.9 and 27.8. Speedsys does show the Riva having more memory bandwidth at 43,306KB/s versus the ET6000 at 40,234KB/s, not sure if that’s what makes the difference. I doubt the scores would prove any better but I wish I could get …

Found a tip in another thread. I needed to grab the g200icd.dll file from the XP driver, even though I’m using Windows 98, and copy into the Windows\system folder.

I was reading that I should be using the final G400 drivers to correct an issue with transparencies in Quake 2 with the G200 but now I’m having an issue where several textures are missing. Any ideas or tips on how to get the best out of a G200 and Quake 2 and OpenGL?

Looking to replace the ATX PS in my p3 dual Voodoo 2 rig, it’s currently pulling around 115watts according to my kill-a-watt meter, when playing a game with SLI. Looking at a new PS with the following specs. Will this cut it too close on 5V or is there some math I’m missing?

I was using the 1/2 multiplier, so the PCI bus was running at 41.67 MHz. So most video cards will work. My IBM 5x86c-133/2x system has a Voodoo2 in it normally. Will Voodoo2's run at 66 MHz? I have a vague recollection that they won't, so I would likely need to pull it for 66 MHz PCI tests. Only …
