335.04 seems better. Still two tone. DP set to 1.2 opened up 3840x1080 60hz. In 3840x1080, I don't get the line, but the games are squished. In 1920x1080 the games have a split.

Got a Zotac 750 Zone today. 335.28 DP works, but there's a two tone/split screen thing going on. Switched DP cables but the two tone/split screen continued. DVI to HDMI works fine. DP won't work if the monitor is set to DP 1.4. I set it to 1.1. I'm going to try 1.2 shortly. I was hoping I would get …

Ya, I see what you're talking about in the notes. I don't have to do the bios updates in order right? I can just do the last one right? Honestly, I'm a little scared to update the bios; I've never done it. I'm worried that I will brick it.

Thanks for the replies. And on the topic does XP ignore 8gb out of 12gb of ram then? Or does the 12gb of ram cause problems for XP? I'm considering a similar build for myself.

Ah the logitech x530. Takes me back to a golden era in pc gaming. I know someone else with almost the same set up. Literally X530 speakers and a CRG9. Too funny.

Did you use any no clean liquid flux when you heated it before? Squirt it in between the GPU and the board. You really need the flux to help clean the connections so they will rejoin properly.
