Be very sure that that module works with your mobo before installing. Some of them are destructively incompatible.

I assume that first image is bottom view and the middle image is top view? Razor at low angle. Then a new pad or some paste. That stuff around the outide is a shim to keep it level. It would be nice to replace it also, but four dabs of silicone on corners of package would do the same thing. (Maybe better)

I don’t have much to do with these as I don’t own one. I do have a board that may be able to run it though. 🤔 I’m just lending my kicad help to the project. Feiopa/other owners are making the calls/much of the design direction. 😀

Yeah, I was figuring they may be too high ns for pentium class that’s why I mentioned it was 486 class. Socket 7 boards went all the way down to 4ns on ss7. I think my s7 mobos are using 6-8ns? I’d have to check.
