That's not 100% true, SecuROM DRM works fine on Windows 7/8/10, the DRM is on the CD/DVD itself, no driver is installed into the system. Ok, usually, we can check the version of the game's executable in the properties - version tab. If it says 1.1, then it's already patched.

You can always check the game requirement (minimum and recommended) on this site : https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri It will also tell you the pixel shadel and vertex shader version, however Pop: SoT is not in the list, only Pop: WW and it requires Pixel Shader 1.3

The SecuROM DRM works fine with Windows 10, no crack or any other modifications to the system necessary. SafeDisc 2/3/4 and Starforce 3/4/5 are the 2 DRM that will not work on Windows 10.
