If it was a complete system I would say go for it. Getting a case that fits what I assume is a low end motherboard will be hard I guess. But maybe you are a very clever person who likes a Dremel challenge. 😀

My cheap multimeter does not have a fancy capacitor meter, so I built my own using an old Arduino board. I measured a capacitor that I thought was from this voodoo board but obviously it's not, as it is 2uF. I might have an other damaged board 🤣.

Ok that works, but I agree I generally don't really like the texture of 3d printed plastic either. SD cards come in many different qualities, I use Sandisk ultra 32 GB hc1. I read somewhere that that is minimum for running raspberry pi OS so I used it as a reference.

Downside as I see it is that I could not find a ready made 3.5" drive bay thing for it as I wantee to access it externally. I made my own that works well but it's not very pretty. It was an extremely tight fit to mount it next to my floppy drive though.
