Now that I think about it, I bet that screw on the top left maybe shorted on the chassis somehow. Maybe touched when on and caused the short.

I think when my soldering skills improve I will attempt to repair this. I think if I'm tedious and careful I can use copper foil tape and fix this.

So I finally found an S 2000 that works great. Awww that GM is sooooooo good. I also was able to get the audio pic 1370 to work in DOS 6.22. The audio quality was great and the GM 8mb was spectacular though s2000 still sounds better to me.

I wonder if the same config theorically on an older o.s. version would have resulted in an higher or similar result considering how technically fast and capable such GPU is. It is easy to test very old Directx9 card running faster those bench on old o.s. than more powerful gpu running the same app …

I just ran 3dmark 2000 on my i7 12700k with an RTX 3070. It would not let me do 1080p so I had to set my resolution to 1280x1024 32 bit textures 32 bit colour. Score was 96941 marks 🤣 Edit: The OS was win 11.

The only dissapointment here is, I can't use my P3 600E CPU because I bought a ASUS P2B to replace (as it was the most affordable for me) and the photo shows Rev 1.10 so I have to buy a Katmai CPU to go with it as the 600E is coppermine and this specific revision does not support Slot 1 coppermine …
