Hey somebody should 3d print these and sell them. What a cool thing to paint: https://www.sci.news/paleontology/saccorhytus-coronarius-ecdysozoan-11104.html An animal with a mouth but no anus. We got lots of those working in the fake news industry. All the **** just comes out their mouth LOL LOL LOL …

So I've been asked about my opinion of Golden fluid acrylics. Many if not most are not useful for mini painting, out of the bottle. Golden is top of the line artist paint, and overwhelmingly is beloved. To summarinze their various paint lines, there's heavy body (standard acrylic, mostly supplied in …

What would you recommend as an all around good beginning set? I found myself impressed again and again with the medieval colors. Compared to the USA BASIC set, FOLKSTONE BASIC, and perhaps another 1 or 2. Price was definitely a factor. That medieval set is consistently around 40$, it dropped …

S9 I ordered the Vallejo medieval set. 27.03$, lowest price I've ever seen. I hope it's worthwhile. The 3 Army Paints they sent were surprisingly good. I liked the nice even dispersion. IOW it wasn't streaky or splotchy like many many other paints are, even pricey art paints. I'll have more to say …

Not big on shooters (gunmen). But I like space combat. Driving games (but NOT gta). If anything needs to be added superhero, giant lizatds/mammalian/robots destroying high rise real estate.

Yes the Batmensch is destined for a wash down. I like painting and trying different colors and combinations and this ia just a practice run. Actually they're all just practice runs. Anyway whether plastic or metal you have to be careful, but soaking in soapy water should soften paints and even …

I don't like them. Or hate them. No reason to have any opinion at all as I haven't used them. I've played with them a bit, and all the other stuff, including the Army Paints, and will report back this evening. To correct a typo above, I switched to English Navy for the Batman cape. Not "English Blue …

Still working on the cape mostly. You really really ought to. I want to see more models and need people to bug the $#!+ out of w/questions. I have soooo much paint. I have maybe 80 metal 25 and 28mm Celts and such. Some Germanics. Hundreds of Victrix plastic unassembled Gauls, Germanics, Vikings, Saxons, Normans, mounted and …

No, Americana. It certainly needs 1 or more coats, but when applied I was surprised how well it did cover. Some craft paints have piss poor coverage. This brand doesn't seem so bad. It's actually a medium-dark blue. DecoArt Americana Royal Navy. 20220814_041641.jpg I'm not terribly interested in …

People used to tow everything under the sun w/cars in the 90s and earlier. It was not uncommon to see smaller camper-trailers pulled by sedans in those years. No one as far as I can tell is saying a sedan is an all around replacement for a truck (or van, like my old Chevy g10 1/2 ton). Most of the …

The paint looks much darker w/o the flash. And that's just the first coat. In the fairly bright flourescent lights under which I painted it, it appeared almost complete coverage but for a few spots. Ok whatever the first I've painted in 30+ years. The base I slathered with another brand of yellow to …

I've seen loads worse. Some of it looks pretty glossy though. I was dying to paint something. The other day I pulled some boxes out of storage and found maybe a dozen Comic Book Champions 75-100mm pewter figurines from the mid 90s. The 1 that was on top was Batman, with a broken batterang or …
