Thanks! Forgot to mention, there are other similar cards I've seen around the net. A bit different component placement, but all in all same parts, also without led. This mod should also work for them, one only needs to see where this pin goes, resistor might not be named R31, but same rules apply.

DOS 6.22 can't read FAT32 so no on that question. But even if it did I don't think you would be able to boot into Win95 or Win98 manually from DOS 6.22. These OS's have their own DOS version, 6.22 isn't base for them.

It's shown as SCSI controller, no DMA to be turned on on it's HDD. Same with Via SATA controllers, except it behaves as expected.

It works, win98 installs fine, I even pointed it at unzipped latest drivers from promise site and it "installed" something, device in device manager got it's proper name, but speed was 3-4 MB/s all accross the board. Hmmm, size could be the issue, most printers are 22x22 cm. I'm messing with modelling printable AT case, still needs some work. I have 30x30 printer but I had to cut it in quite a bit of pieces... Though I guess it would be somewhat easy to mod the design to open test bench 🤔.
