If what the client needs to run works in NTVDM, just get Windows Vista/7 x86. they still have NTVDM.

It is a hidden folder. That is why you were given the instructions to use the shortcut in the Start Menu to edit the config file.

The point that Dominus was making was to discourage the use of DOSBox for business. It is for the sake of the DOSBox team. Remember, the world is a very litigious place.

My comment was to Dominus' edit rather than to the OP. It has been a long time since I have done anything in real DOS. I haven't thought much about such things in DOSBox since it is easier to do file management outside of DOSBox.

It has been a while, but I don't think real DOS copy allowed wild cards, otherwise there would be little need for XCOPY. Otherwise I agree with you about doing such things from the host OS. It is far easier and faster to so.

I agree that using percentages instead of pixels is best for flexibility. I once argued this point with someone that was a student majoring in publishing that tried to insist that a fixed width should be the only standard. His argument was based on a fixed number of characters wide for best …

It looks like he is trying to use this for a business, which is especially why he should avoid the use of DOSBox. There could be liability aspects.
