Is there a way to hack CRT mode into a bios dump? I have a Teknor PCI-936 SBC that appears to boot into LCD mode and switches to CRT mode once the Teknor option rom loads. I have dumped the bios with my T48 and it contains the C&T VGA BIOS at the beginning.

IGNORE ALL OF THIS. IT WAS AN ISSUE WITH MY BATCH FILE. For some reason UNISOUND is setting up my AWE64 with DMA1/HighDMA1 on the first try. Starting BLOOD results in a crash complaining about high DMA being incorrect. Running UNISOUND again after that sets up DMA1/HighDMA5 as expected from my …

Well, with the help of jakethompson1 we were able to track down some 8kx9(MCM6265CP15). It was expensive, and it still doesn't work, so I'm pretty bummed out. HOWEVER, the machine consistently reports its "CACHE MEMORY BAD. DO NOT ENABLE CACHE !" line after memory check. I don't know what this …

So you put an 8Kx8 RAM chip into U42, and the new 8K*9 chip into U43? Do not use an 8K*9 chip for both! Yes, 8Kx8 in U42, 8Kx9 in U43. I'm pretty sure you also need to disconnect the outputs of the amp chip before things begin to work correctly. Pins 1 and 3 are the outputs. I moved the resistors and cut pins 1 and 3 off the amplifier. I only get right-channel mono sound. Descent setup puts right and center on the right and …

Okay, through some quick testing I was able to figure out that the 2.2k resistors were the best for volume. Here's my (ugly) work. Ignore the lifted pad on R11, I don't know where that came from(he lied). I get stereo sound and the card is now poly-modded.

How exactly are you doing it? You need to remove the PicoMEM from the motherboard (can't stay in the computer even when powered down). Ah, I am trying with a Atmel 28C64 like you did and I'm getting nowhere. I have these 74LS chips coming from Mouser. Turns out they're extremely cheap, around a dollar a piece.
