Just looking at your picture of the board, it looks like the PWR_SW is not bridged but the SLEEP header is. I'm sure you've already noticed/thought of this, are you sure you're actually shutting off the PC?

It's basically a Tualatin core in 478 package, and I'm not even sure if: - the pinout is the same as a P4 - it's unknown if any of the chipsets released for P4 (including the RDRAM i850) can handle a Tualatin core. I have M571 v.3.2A (Elpina branded) which is similar board and it is very picky about installed RAM modules. At least it works well with modified BIOS for AMD K6-III+/2+ with 83 MHz FSB.
