Amstrad GT 64 monitor fail

Hello, I recently got an amstrad GT64 monitor. The computer works ok,but the v-hold seems to have a problem.I tried ajusting the pot(something changes on the screen),but nothing Any ideas?

Have you tried messing with the bios settings or start just the command prompt ?

That's not good.If the problem is not on the bios,have you tried reinstalling windows or safe mode?

I am not sure,but I think the CDROM version of Jurassic Park had Cd-rom audio tracks.

I think that's because the starter pack is designed for only ms dos systems.Why don't you try Phil's Ms-Dos mode easy pack for windows?

Yes,I agree too.I have the same problem and re-seating the video card fixed the issue.

When you normal-boot ,does the blank screen appeared after nextstep booting window or after pressing enter on boot:?

Nice,I also had a problem installing it.( I first set cd rom ide to 1:0 and disk 1,2gb to 0:0). I tried that,but the same error.I think it doesn't load the display driver while loading the graphical bootup.Just the default vga b/w driver. On nextstep faq I found that: 6.34 RAM greater 64MB, now I get a black screen! Many users discouver a nice effect: They add RAM to their computer so they …

After installing generic S3 pci driver,I got high resolution with colors. But,again I must always start the system with -v parameter,or the system hungs. I am uploading and a screenshot.(Sorry for the low resolution)
