Re: swapping disks in x-wing install

Another thing to try if the filenames are different on all the disks is to copy them all into one directory on the hard drive and mount that to /mnt/floppy, then run the installer in DOSBox and see if the game has a problem installing from one big virtual floppy.

I would suggest trying normal core (or dynamic or full if you're already using normal) Also, try unplugging your joystick (if you're using one) to see if that helps. Playing with DOSBox's memory emulation may also have an effect. Also, could your installation be corrupt?
