It might be tough getting some games to use the card you want them to use, as some are hard-coded to use certain port numbers. As far as the hardware itself goes, it sounds like the only limiting factor is how much power they draw.

It's -ioctl, not -otcl. Save states has been discussed at length and it has been determined that this is a very non-trivial task due to the complexity of the PC (it's not like a console, especially for games that use the disk to temporarily store data).

You can't. Diffs are source patches and require recompiling the source code to make a new dosbox.exe. A couple of the popular CVS builds already have the SVGA patches included, however. See the development form for more info.
