You could open it up and adjust the internal brightness setting on the flyback transformer. Not recommended if you don't have experience playing with the insides of electronics, since there are parts inside of CRTs that get charged into the tens of thousands of volts. http://www.eio.com/repairfaq/ …

It's more like this: If Toyota (or GM or whoever) made 70% of the world's cars in the 70s, and they decided not to upgrade their cars to run on unleaded fuel, then you can bet that every gas station would still sell diesel fuel until Toyota decided to change their engine designs.

I doubt it, but the sound isn't too bad if you turn the music off (which is just one song that loops endlessly anyways). Also, the game works for me in Tandy mode using a recent CVS build, but the colors are messed up.

What you want is a program called a "front-end" or "loader". There are several for DOSBox. I haven't tried any myself, but I hear that D-Fend is a popular one. I think there are two versions of the game: a floppy version without voices and a CD-ROM version with voices. If you downloaded the floppy version the you're out of luck.
