Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

Is there a solution for Linux already? I can't get it to run! I've installed all possible SWT packages which would make sense. What packages / configuration do I need on a Ubuntu/Debian system? I keep getting this error: java -jar dbgl.jar Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: …

Re: DosBlaster 2.0 - shell extension for DosBox

Nice work tinyabs, lean and mean, quick and simple. Works very nicely, but I have a question.. It looks like default memory settings are not correctly shown in the configuration editing dialog?! For example, when I set ems off, it is correctly stored in dosbox.conf but shows up enabled in the …

Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

Your suggestion might …

Re: FPU bug

Hi woody, I just saw you checked in the new dynamic core fpu stuff. May I inform you that it doesn't compile currently on msys/mingw32 (gcc 3.4.2) ?! Looks like you forgot to commit a header file: if g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I../../include -I/usr/local/include/SDL -Dmain=SDL_main -g -O2 …

Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

...One thing that I'd like is the option to save and use the conf file in the game's directory, not just the profiles folder of DBGL... Yes, more people have asked for this feature so I'm planning on implementing it. Unfortunately, this change requires a database structure change which I would like …

Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

Fixed the crashbug (forgot to update that darn manifest file :dead:, jar 0.46 is up, no source changes. Thanks for reporting this collector! About the expirimental features such as overscan; what happens if you press 'Reload Settings' after selecting a dosbox version such as ykhwong's? That should …

Hi everybody, v0.45 is available, changes are: * Implemented 'Desktop shortcut creation' for DBGL running on Windows, by popular demand. * Updated internal DOSBox CVS build to oct. 5th. and HSQLDB to 1.8.0.7, Windows only for the moment. * Added 'Settings' dialog box for running DOSBox in -noconsole …

Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

Hi benkid77, And thank you for your appreciation, your observations and suggestions. Here we go: 1) I see the issue here. You are right that it is currently impossible to store a profile without a game exe or image-file. What you CAN do, is start any configured DOSBox version in the list by just …

Re: D.O.G. FrontEnd v1.5

And pressing the "middle" mouse button to open a new tab? Does that work? Strange though because I too only use firefox. I only tested the site with IE. Erik Well, middle-clicking correctly opens a new window, but downloading can not commence since Firefox does not response to clicking on 'Download …

Re: D.O.G. FrontEnd v1.5

Erik, I think you should check the navigational links on your website, there appear to be some target settings missing in the html (for example, clicking on 'Download' only reloads the navigation frame, not the rightmost frame).

Re: FPU bug

Yes, the changes should indeed be present in my current build, and no, no optimizations other than the default optimization settings (-O2 and the like). This is a straight CVS build (MingW/Msys), except for one small patch that does nothing else than allow for more than one .conf file ( http:// …

Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

v0.44 is up at the usual location: * Implemented screenshot removal (right-click), F2 to edit profile (besides ctrl-enter) and made the various 'Browse..' buttons more intelligent by using a default directory when possible. * Fixed some pathname casing issues, you may use mixed casing between …

Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

Hello again, v0.43 is up, highlights are: * Added basic support for 'Windows system integration', meaning you can use the Windows Explorer, right-click on a game executable, and select Send To - DBGL to add the game to the profiles list (collector). To set it up: 1) Navigate to folder C:\Documents …
