Calm down. Apparently, config.exe was somehow fixed between 0.73 and 0.74, which I certainly didn't know. So thank you cuttock, for your post.

Reinstall the game in dosbox, and _keep the mounts the same_ when starting the game. Your trek2.cfg does no longer correspond to the virtual directory structure in dosbox, probably.

Another issue was found; imported games did not get a relative .conf file path (regression since 0.69c). Fixed in this test-build, 0.71a. All the latest files, to upgrade just grab the jar as usual. Ronald

Since I consider the issues that were fixed in the latest test-build important enough, the new release is up. The only thing changed is the button height for the retrieved images on Mac systems. Go easy on the MobyGames server, everyone 😉

More minor changes; the delay for Dark Sun is slightly enlarged, and the config setting was moved to [midi]midiconfig; add "delaysysex" or "delayreadystate" to enable the patch. Regards, Ronald

Hi CJ, Pixelshader is an unofficial feature in Gulikoza's and YKHWong's DOSBox builds. The setting in DBGL will get enabled if you associate the current profile to one of these DOSBox versions.

Mididevice and midiconfig are correct, HunterZ must be mistaken as the other names are from an older dosbox generation. KQV should definitively display some sysex messages on the MT-32's display. Try resetting (turn off and on, or press and hold master volume together with rhythm and press part1) …

Another update; now the delay behavior is configurable. Use the [midi] 'sysexdelay' option to specify no delay (none), a stalling delay (stall) or delay using the MPU401 'ready to send' bit (statusbit). Timings remain unchanged. Gamecollector, try with a default .conf (maybe except for the cycles setting), your machine and cputype settings may be the cause of the issue.
