Re: Best PCI graphics card for Windows 98

It all depends on what you want to run, what you have access to, and what you're willing to spend. If your old Compaq is just going to go back into a corner and collect dust, then I suggest you just pick any card and be done with it. You'll also need to consider the voltage that the PCI slots on …

Re: MS Office issue

in Windows
I agree that it is very strange that you would come to this forum, of all places, for help with Microsoft Office 2010 on Windows 8.1. How did you get here? I might suspect that you have some kind of virus, but I would expect a re-install of Office to fix that. Does this error only appear when you …

As the code has been ported to the Raspberry Pi and …

Re: re: about ms version of sim city

I have an other post about the Windows version of SimCity 2k. I got from the store a long time ago. SimCity 2k for windows. The game still works on Win7 Home 32bit except for save a file and load a file. If I hit ether the save or load in the main menu the game drops out to Windows desktop. No …

Re: which sound card for DOS Glide games?

Is there some reason you are not using Windows 98 SE? One of the major differences is that SE supports WDM drivers, which may make a big difference. If you want to test your other card, my usual recommendation is to try booting a version of Linux off a CD or USB stick. Many versions should already …
