Yeah it can boot from CD, you hold C at boot up. I get this screen but with a flashing ? in the middle, eg. it cannot find any boot media. The keyboard like i said just flashed as soon as i've turned on the Mac but it doesnt do anything like i should be able to hold in C or some other commands at …

DOS=HIGH,UMB should be on the second line after HIMEM but before EMM386. The last occurrence of DOS=HIGH is redundant.

As I said, in some cases it is a matter of incorrect character encoding. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mojibake . However, in this case I see the same. The text might have been copy-pasted with the incorrect character encoding so that now it is stuck this way.

The game has several files in which the actual path of the game is definded. I would think it would be easier just to let the game have the path it wants: put the game's files in C:\BLAH\WONDERLA, and then use "mount c c:\blah". That should do the trick. Took me hours to find it out and the …

If you are deleting random files, the game will probably not function correctly. You should install the game from its original CD, or ask the people at whatever site that you downloaded the game from.
