MS Office 97 is the only version I've ever used at home. Of course I know there are many better alternatives out there, but it does everything I need and it does it well. It's a start, I guess. A lot of stuff listed appears to be fairly recent. I can think of numerous things that are missing. ("So add them!" is the obvious response. Have any of you tried to do so?) I'd think he means like that, but with a more complete complement of DOS games and their DOSBox issues. …

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? ... It would be nice if there was a proper wiki with known, working fixes for common problems in older games. Something like a combination of ntcompatible.com , MobyGames, and Patches Scrolls.

DOSBox is an SDL application, and can probably be dealt with in this regard in the same way as any other SDL application. I don't know that way would be, though.

Say it is a legal version packed as a .zip file There is no such thing . does anyone know what my problem might be? I already said: there is no way of knowing whether all of the game's files are intact and functional. The game has never been distributed that way; whoever put the zip file together …
