Well, I am going to try porting to PowerBASIC this time. (When I feel I have the time and energy and other priorities don't get in the way.) With pb's quirks this is gonna be fun! 😀

If I felt like I had the time and energy to learn Forth I might actually feel tempted to do it just to prove a point. 😀

Hmmm, noone? Okay, then I will try solving my issue using VBDOS. Which imho is still similar enough to QBasic to meet my purpose of having fun writing an interpreter in a classic BASIC language.

I have tried many games and other stuff in DOSBox and never seen screen tearing. What kind of computer are you using? Also, it would help if you provided your version of DOSBox and the contents of your DOSBox configuration file.
