Must be something to do with Glidos increasing the scheduling priority of the DOS process.

Glidos doesn't do anything with the sound, except that it starts VDMSound up. If anything, it has the potential to make the sound worse by pushing the whole system harder. I don't know. That's quite weird.

!!!! SUCCESS AT LAST !!!! Brilliant! I'm sure others will run into this. Nice to know the cause The only additional thing you could have done to make it worse is add random voiceovers to it, like "PAY ME!", "SCROOGE HAD NOTHING ON YOU!", etc) Great Idea. I'll start working on it straight away. :D

Its not generated from the dll. It does entirely different job. Why can't you use it with the latest OpenGLide? What happens? BTW, what is the latest OpenGLide?

There must be something very odd happening here. Maybe the NIC is held in CMOS and your battery has gone dead. Do you lose BIOS settings? Though then you'd expect all zeros or something like that. I'm very confused. Glidos is supposed to generate the Glidos.bat file and then run it. The first line of that file should be DOSDRV. We are talking Windows XP here, yes?

The cut scenes are rendered really crappily by TR, and there's not much Glidos can do to improve them.

So is it okay now? Great if it is. Strange though: I built a system for someone recently using the ASUS nForce based MOBO. That had two nics, both enabled, and Glidos was happy on that.

Have you tried the version of Glide2x.dll from the Red Baron page of the Glidos web site? Just drop it into your Glidos folder, replacing the file that came as part of the installation.

Oh, and another thing. With Blood, you must start it with the Glidos button. Otherwise the stuff that stitches the little triangles together wont get activated.

I think it is the most difficult of the Glidos-supported game to make work. On my XP machine it almost always fails first go, but then works the second.

99.9% certain it isn't software, unless it is very strange software that fakes hardware.
