Did you try reinstalling TR? That's the most likely place for there to be a change. Best to download the archive from the Glidos web site. Don't lose your save games of course.

I think probably he had the Audio pack installed already. A lot of people use it because it had many of the extra sounds that appeared in the Play Station version.

Sorry, I don't know what's misled you: there is no freeware version. Its $10 to unlock and get rid of the logo.

As yet, there's no known fix for that problem. I'm hoping that I might find out a little more when eventually I look at getting Carmageddon running under VDos32.

That's really strange. I have no idea what's going on. Here's a version of VDos32 with some tracing activated. There's some small chance it will give us a little more information. When it completes the running of a game it should open a dialog window for saving a log file. It may just do nothing. …

No. Never heard of that one before. (The music, by the way, you can get by downloading the audiopack from the Glidos web site.) When you say closes, do you mean the main dialog disappears? Have you retried without VDos32?

I thought of trying VDOS32, but the game doesn't have any music when you use it, and that probably isn't allowed for what I'm doing. Is Redbook support easy to implement?
