Yup yup... And I've only halfway played only 3 of them back in the day: Myth, LoL, and Darkseed. Definately got a adventure bug that needs to be fed. Doubt I'll ever get into the old strategy/flight sim/sports games of old.

GRRR I'm starting to get pissed. 2 wasted evenings and I still can't enjoy this new card. Ugh, I'm a total dunce... for some reason it's still playing MIDI thru the SB16 instead of the SCB-55... win98 is of no use either.. grr.. need to figure this out.. Any dummies guides out there? I remember vaguely reading about one guy's vintage PC that didn't have a single fan in his PC (and no, I'm not talking about the new water cooling). There wasn't even a fan in the PSU. How cool (uh, no pun intended) would it be to have a completely silent Dos Box?

Granted 386 8mhz != P1 8mhz. So you think even P1 8mhz won't be too fast? (Just trying to be absolutely clear) I think in my software slowdown it got it to a theoretical like 10mhz or lower (been a while since I tried playihng it) but it was jerky. Guess that's the bane of software slowdown.
