Don't forget that in my Tandy version you have to explictly change the mode (from CGA, Tandy, and VGA) for the detection routines to work right. I just went back and tested it with PQ1 and the CGA stuff looks exactly as I remember it.

Even m1emu.mp3 provided on canadacow's page has volume problems (bass sound is much louder in m1.mp3 played on real MT-32). btw, I was unable to find ROM. It's required to get any sound from emulator, right? (even managed to get it compiled with current dosbox CVS, but exits when mt32emu is run) …

Heh.. anyway, here's some good news. Tomorrow I'll be posting a non-alpha version of the DosBox MT-32 emulator. The reverb has been revamped and I've also spent a great deal of time on the tuning (it's a heck of a lot closer than its ever been!). Anyway, be looking for that tomorrow!
