Wow... I don't know why, but everything seems to sound better on the win driver. I haven't even noticed anything being out of tune.

I'm quite certain Ultima 6 uses MT-32 and the MIDI option is just slapped on - not the other way around. At least Ultima 7 still used MT-32.

I listened to the mp3s in the emulation website and I must say I'm really impressed with the capabilities of the original mt32. The emulation sounds hardly listenable, but at least some of the instruments sound pretty good.

I'm recording them through VDMsound... Through the File field in the MIDI tab. The last time I checked ScummVM only supported the intro of BASS, dunno about the resources. I'll check.
