Yeah I was worried about a retail 7 licence being transmuted into a "lifetime of device" licence [which sounds like OEM arrangement].

Has anybody seen a licence for 10 that is not limited to the "lifetime of the device"? Or indeed a definition of what "lifetime" means.

Got the cards I want into my socket 7 - rendition verite, gus classic, awe32. Only dos at the moment, none of the sound card software. Random lockups. Need to decide whether to add some kind of Windows and a Nic.

Got a qpad mk-50 keyboard with red mx switches. Ps/2 connector but comes with a usb adapter if needed. One the cheaper mx switch keyboards.
