well.. as you see not all command line options work, but i wrote a solution here CGA Composite Mode under DOSBOX (Commited r3804)

what is your dosbox version and where have you got it from? what is your Operating System? what are your PC specifications? what games have problems? post your exact mountings post what is written after you mounted post content of "DOSBox Status Window" enclose your dosbox's config file

i think you have to mount all images first and after you boot from one, all other images will be available too
