ctrl-F4 after every cd change i have noticed i have to use -t cdrom -noioctl for the cd change to work correctly

try ctrl-F4 after every cd change, before clicking the mouse. and don't click the mouse if sceleton hand currsor doesn't appear first.

type this in game folder in windows' cmd (not in dosbox) dir /oge /s > c:\list.txt and post the resutling file

right click on the title bar of status window check whether you hear voice with all: speaker, adlib and blaster parameters. all should sound differently and tell us what you hear with every parameter set cycles to 3000

try other versions of dos4gw.exe DOS Memory Extenders - by Snover and DosFreak try disabling xms and ems

reset cycles to its default value (auto) make sure you don't have any autoexec.bat or config.sys in your c:\oldgames\ directory you can copy/paste content of dosbox status windows

where have you got your dosbox from? what is your Operating System? what are your PC specifications? post your exact mountings post what is written after you mounted post content of "DOSBox Status Window" before running the game enclose your dosbox's config file
